The Freedman Group announces that Alex Nelson will be taking on a new role as an advisor and board member for Loud Audio, LLC. The move comes as Nelson retires from his role as Mackie CEO after a remarkable 18 years of leadership, having been instrumental in leading the company through a number of landmark transformations. Alex Nelson expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead, and his confidence in the future of Mackie, "I am excited to transition into this new role and continue contributing to the success of Mackie and The Freedman Group. Moving on from my role as CEO, I am filled with pride for what we have accomplished and immense optimism for what lies ahead. As part of this transition, Mackie will see the appointment of Quint Sabatka as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer, and Carolyn Hommer as the Senior Vice President of Business Operations. “We’re thrilled to see two longstanding and extremely capable Mackie team members stepping into these critical roles”, says Nelson, “and we have full confidence in what their leadership will bring for the bright future of Mackie.”
