Ferncast Webinar: Reliable Audio Transmission

ferncast Reliability Audio Transmission

For internet radio stations, reliable delivery of their programs is one of the most important goals. That's why Ferncast are inviting to their free webinar Reliable transmission for audio contribution and distribution. During this webinar, their experts will present different concepts and methods for audio contribution to the encoder as well as distribution to the listeners.

Ferncast will review approaches like RTP and SRT which are, on the one hand, mostly useful for the contribution side. There are also streaming protocols like HLS, Icecast and Ybrid that, on the other hand, directly address the listeners. All these variants will be discussed with regard to reliable transmission, while a detailed focus will then be given to HLS and its failover mechanisms.
