Merging Technologies announces that Pyramix 15 will be unveiled at the upcoming AES Show in New York from the 8th - 10th October 2024. This latest version of Pyramix comes with a fresh, modern redesign and an enhanced user experience, making it more intuitive and easier to use. Pyramix continues to be the digital audio workstation (DAW) of choice for high-quality audio production, offering unmatched audio fidelity with track counts and I/O capabilities up to 384 low-latency I/O at 44.1/48 kHz, and 64 I/O in DSD/DXD. It boasts an advanced real-time editor, versatile fade editor, complete mixing and mastering functionalities, and immersive workflows, including support for the Dolby Atmos ADM format.

Pyramix 15 introduces a host of exciting new features and enhancements, including:

  • Reengineered Merging VS3 Plugins: Redesigned and optimised for even better performance.
  • Side Chain: Supported for VS3/VST3/VST2 plugins in MassCore & Native modus, including multichannel support with channel selection
  • Enhanced Monitoring Section: Speaker group mute/solo features for multichannel workflows, ideal for Dolby Atmos production.
  • New Final Check Tool: Revamped interface with multichannel support.
  • New Video Engine: Fully overhauled for improved performance and reliability.

A portion of the Merging Technologies software team, led by Dominique Brulhart (Head of Application Software) and Maurice Engler (Product Owner - Software Solutions), will be on hand to demonstrate Pyramix 15 at AES New York. “It is with great pleasure and excitement that we present the newest version of Pyramix 15 to the North American sound engineering community, who have been loyal to us and have always provided valuable feedback,” says Engler. “We are confident that Pyramix 15 will meet and even exceed their expectations.” Pyramix 15 remains a Native (ASIO/Windows-based) DAW that works with all sound cards. It is available in three software packages (Element, Pro, and Premium) with the option to add the Masscore real-time engine, enabling up to 384 low-latency I/O with Merging converters or direct integration with RAVENNA/AES67/ST2110.

The highly anticipated Pyramix 15 will be available before the end of 2024. During the AES Show, Dale Pro Audio (#booth 343) will showcase Pyramix 15, along Hapi Mk III and Anubis.
